Jackie and Jay :: An Engagement in San Francisco

These two… oh my goodness. They’re all sweet and cute, playful and the tiniest bit shy… And then he changes into a black suit, and she slips into a red gown and BAM: legit supermodel status. These two are crazy gorgeous inside and out, and were an absolute joy to photograph. I loved everything about this session – from wandering along Stow Lake’s gardens to exploring the moody ocean shoreline at the Sutro Baths. All along, getting to know each other between takes. At the time, they were packing and getting ready to move across the country, so their session was a bit of a farewell kiss to San Francisco. Jackie and Jay, I hope everything is going wonderfully for you on the east coast, and I’m looking forward to catching up with you next year!

For our final few takes, they switched to cozy casuals for a few nuzzles on the shore. (And to warm up! It was chilly!)
