Katrina and Garret :: Married in Michigan!

After spending some time with these two, I knew Katrina and Garret’s wedding was going to be off-the-charts awesome. They did not disappoint! It was a day filled to the brim with joy and laughter and tears, and tons of goofy lightheartedness thanks to their amazing friends and family members. It was a day to remember, that’s for sure!

The couple said their I-do’s in an outdoor garden ceremony at the beautiful Matthaei Botanical Gardens on the University of Michigan campus. Afterward, we had tons of time to frolic with the newlyweds and their bridal party through the blooms, and we took full advantage! We had such a great time with them, we could have photographed for hours out there. (Actually, we did!)

The evening celebration took place at Weber’s Inn Ann Arbor in classic Frankenmuth style. In case you don’t remember from Sara and Aaron’s wedding, you’ve gotta see their fun Bavarian traditions at the bottom of this post! It’s like nothing else you’ve seen!

Congratulations to Sahar and Hanns, who said their vows in a sunset ceremony this weekend in Seaside, California! It was absolutely gorgeous, combining American and Persian traditions. I loved all of the incredible details and work done with love by Sahar’s mother. Bayonet Black Horse provided a lovely backdrop, with planning and coordination by Chantal of Forma Weddings.

9-19-15 :: Alyssia and Tim just married in Lake Tahoe

This weekend was pure bliss! With the help of Scott Corridan Design, Alyssia and Tim planned a beautiful wedding at Lake Tahoe. Lahontan Golf Club was a perfect backdrop for their celebration, set high in the mountains, rustic and elegant. With a color palette of white, sage, and touches of pink, and her Matthew Christopher gown (from Haute Bride of course!) in champagne, it was a dream!

9-12-15 :: Anne Marie and Gordon :: The Holly Farm Wedding

Congratulations to Anne Marie and Gordon, just married this weekend! They planned a wedding that I can’t even try to describe in words, you’ll just have to wait for the full feature! The Holly Farm in Carmel-By-The-Sea is DIVINE. In the middle of Carmel Valley’s beautiful and expansive ranches, there is this secret hideaway. A tropical oasis. There is no place in the world that could have been a more magical backdrop for Anne Marie and Gordon’s dream wedding. Add in these two loves, her Hayley Paige gown from Haute Bride, vibrant colors, amazing blooms, incredible details, and it’s just magic upon magic!

Kimberly and Adam :: Rengstorff House Wedding

Kimberly and Adam planned a beautiful spring wedding in Palo Alto. They began their nuptials with an afternoon ceremony, officiated by Adam’s father, at the First Baptist Church of Palo Alto. Before they said I-do, they had a sweet private moment together (not a First Look!) where they held hands with each other to say a prayer. There were so many touching moments like this one! Their day was filled with love and warmth, closely surrounded by friends and family. After the ceremony, their guests enjoyed a garden reception at The Rengstorff House in Mountain View. It was the perfect backdrop for a sweet social with a strolling reception of small bites and treats. (I can vouch for the mini cheesecakes, amazing!)

After their reception concluded, we whisked away with just the bride and groom for a just-married photo session at Elizabeth Gamble Garden, and the Garden Court Hotel on University Avenue. Divine!

Congratulations to Frances and Tony, married yesterday at the historic Mission Santa Clara! They had a perfect day, and celebrated into the sunset at the Adobe Lodge on Santa Clara University’s campus. Planning and details by Platinum Events, and flowers by Blooming Bouquet were flawless. Absolutely beautiful!

8-22-15 :: Stephanie and Ryan at Grand Island Mansion

Congratulations to Stephanie and Ryan, who tied the knot this weekend at Grand Island Mansion! It was an beautiful venue, and even more beautiful day. And can we all just gush over Stephanie’s amazing Hayley Paige gown from Haute Bride Los Gatos for a minute? Eeee! Amazing!! I loved everything about this day, and can’t wait to go through the rest of these.

On a personal note, theirs was wedding #150 for me! So far, I have had the pleasure of photographing 150 amazing couples taking their vows, about 1500 bridesmaids and groomsmen, and somewhere in the neighborhood of 25,000 guests. Such an incredible honor! :)

Thanks Stephanie and Ryan for being an awesome milestone, even though you didn’t even know it! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness. Congrats again!! xoxo, Kristen

Congratulations to Megan and Alex, who had the most lovely mountain-top wedding yesterday! They said their I-do’s and celebrated among only their very closest family and friends in Soquel, California. Kennolyn’s Hilltop Hacienda is tucked up in the redwoods, overlooking Santa Cruz. These two couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for their intimate wedding, with friends and family joining them from all over the country. Absolutely beautiful!
