Congratulations to Sara and Aaron! They got engaged TODAY! Aah!  :D  They are good friends of ours, through one our couples-turned-best friends, Jon and Laura. He called us a week or two ago and asked us if we could be there when he popped the question. Um, YES! Of course! We were so sneaky… we met them at Meijer Gardens for a walk in the sculpture park. I brought my cameras to take pictures of our adorable kiddo, naturally. Okay, good, nothing is out of the ordinary yet. (Mua ha ha!) Then Aaron leads Sara over to this lovely spot at the waterfall, across the koi pond from us. And -boom!- down on one knee! Eee! They were both smiling ear to ear, (okay, so were we!) and a crowd gathered to watch and cheer after the “yes”! It was such a joyful moment, Sara kept smiling and looking at Aaron, then looking at her new ring on her left hand, and back to Aaron again with an even bigger grin. Happy, happy couple. We are so excited for them!!
