Viki and Eric :: Married in Chicago!

There are weddings. And then there are Weddings!  Events richly steeped in tradition, family, and a deep love. Viktorija and Eric’s wedding was one we will remember forever. There were so many moments when I found myself getting emotional, watching the events unfold and feeling the warmth and joy all around me. I kept smiling at Jamie between shots, amazed at how much there was to see, hear, and feel. Between the gorgeous location, live band, and incredible families, it was one amazing night. We felt so honored to be there, documenting, etching these moments into memories.

The girls started at Viki’s parents house, where her dad repeatedly played a funny Lithuanian wedding song that had the girls in stitches!  The mood was light, and the snowy winter day was perfect. Guys were already at Nativity of the BVM Parish. Viki and Eric saw each other for the first time as she walked down the stunning church aisle on her father’s arm.

After the ceremony, we headed downtown Chicago for a few pictures with the city as a backdrop, and then it was time to celebrate at the Oak Brook Marriott! We wish these two the absolute best, and a lifetime of happiness, tradition, family, and deep love.

  • Laura - I LOVE the picture of her dress twirling as they dance. It’s so dreamy!

  • LeolaK - Gorgeous!!! She looked stunning!!! Brave to go out in the cold – rock stars at it too because they don’t look like they are freezing! I’d say the best winter so far we’ve had here in Chicago! Beautiful work Kristen and Jamie!
