Rebecca and Matt had an amazing wedding planned at Trillium in Spring Lake, Michigan. An outdoor ceremony, and a tented reception with colorful paper lanterns. And lots of sunshine. Michigan, however, had other plans. On May 29th, a nasty storm rolled in, complete with tornado warnings, crushing their plans. So, what do we do when it rains in Michigan? We roll with it! For the safety of the wedding party and their guests, the decision was made to move the ceremony and reception indoors. But that didn’t stop us from dashing between raindrops! We even had a few moments of real sunshine, and we took full advantage! Life does this sort of thing sometimes. But the more you can bend with the breeze, and the more you look for those bursts of sunshine, the happier you’ll be. Wishing many many years of happiness to the lovely Rebecca, and her handsome new husband Matt!

Oh girls… rocking out some Awkward Wedding Photos. I can’t believe I’m putting my logo on this!
Naturally, the guys wanted in on the action too.

Cutest wedding cake topper, eek! Love it!
I thought this idea was so cool – they had a little wedding cake, and then had a handful of family and friends bring various cakes and pies. It was a buffet of deliciousness! I may have had two different kinds of cake. Okay three. They were small! 😉
Fun, fun!! Rebecca and Matt, you had an amazing day. Congratulations to you!!!
