In honor of Valentine’s Day, with all this love and warmth in the air, how about a little romantic vintage wedding inspiration? I’ve been thinking spring lately, and I’ve most definitely been thinking PINK! Earlier this summer, I collaborated with a fabulous group of wedding professionals on a stylized shoot for a bridal magazine spread. It started with InFrame Bride Magazine and Pearls Events. When Aletha called to tell me about her idea and ask me to shoot it, I squealed with excitement! Vintagey pinks and golds… ahh, my favorite! I suggested an evening setting, knowing we would have some gorgeous golden sunlight. It was amazing, and absolutely wonderful to work with everyone involved (links at the bottom of this post!). The location was a private estate on Lake Macatawa in Holland, Michigan, on the most perfect of June evenings!
In love with all the vintage details in the antique china, flatware, calligraphy, flowers, linens…
Invitations with lace applique… gorgeous!
And how could you not adore this idea for a card box? Might be the prettiest birdcage I’ve ever seen!
Candy buffet… swoon!
Sweetheart table for the bride and groom
And last but not least, the perfectly elegant white wedding cake with pretty pink bow detail!
