I love photographing newborns in their homes. Everyone feels more calm and relaxed, and I’m able to incorporate elements of their rooms and their style in their pictures. This bassinet is a few generations old, recently found in an attic and updated for little Gracie with handmade linens from Grandma. It is absolutely gorgeous!
Of course, you know I can’t resist a baby in a bowl… especially with such yummy purple walls and perfect window light!

bassinet – drapes, cropping, and light make it divine,
hands – emotes so much without seeing a face, and
the bowl w purple wall – everything about this picture is great, but the texture in the floor puts it over the top for me.
